On the evening of Saturday the 12th of September in Clayton, educators from Johnston County were recognize for the outstanding achievement in education. These awards are called Vision Of Hope Awards. Executive Director Cheryl Judd accepted this award on the behalf of all of us at NCMHCO! Let's all keep this great work going!

Dear Members and friends of NCMHCO,
The North Carolina Mental Health Consumers' Organization is currently seeking members and friends who are interested in becoming officers and committee chairs of the Board of Directors.
We are seeking Board Members who believe in our mission and are willing to be active in their governance roles in accordance with the organizational structured responsibilities.
The North Carolina Mental Health Consumers' Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which services citizens throughout the state of North Carolina, which requires representation from the three sectors across the state. Currently, our primary service area is providing Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) trainings that are certified by the Copeland Center and endorsed by the State Development of Health and Human Services.
Requirements for positions on the board include: experience working with nonprofit organizations; experience with fundraising; an ability to meet bi-monthly in designated areas of the state, and training. Upon becoming a member of the Board of Directors, one must have completed or complete a required Wellness Recovery Action Plan training (WRAP). Your position on the board is for a two year term with the opportunity for an additional term, in accordance with the bylaws.
